We use a secure server for the entry and transmission of all data
considered to be: PRIVATE DATA.
Registration
All registration information is entered via a secure server.
During the course of registering on our website users are required
to enter a certain level of personal information with regards the
data collected during this process to be: PRIVATE DATA.
Cookies
Auto login cookie. Optional, for when a user requests that the
login form 'remembers' their login details, used for no other
purpose.
Quote reference cookie. Optional, this cookie stores your quote
reference; allowing you to proceed directly to our application
form without needing to re-key cover information, used for no other
purpose.
Session Information
We keep and review session history information.
We use session information to keep a record of pages viewed and
quotes generated. After monthly analysis (to see popular pages,
site exits etc.) we delete session history information. Once a
session has ended there is no way of identifying a user to a particular
session. Sessions automatically expire after 2 hours.
Credit Card Payments
We use a 3rd party payment provider to collect credit card details
(Protx.Com), this server allows you to enter your details
for a specific transaction and be safe in the knowledge that
Trafalgar.uk.com can neither view nor store this information.
This process uses a secure server.
Thawte Certificate
We use Thawte Certificates to ensure privacy during the transmission
of data. At no point during and after data processing are details
stored in clear format.
